On May 7th 2019, the LIVE Sydney facility welcomed four guests from Macquarie University Hospital, Auburn Hospital, Lithgow Hospital and Norwest Private Hospital to Endoscope Reprocessing Specialist Training (ERST). The day was facilitated by Sharon Kirk (Clinical Educator, Medical Affairs).
The event took the usual course agenda with both didactic and hands-on presentations focusing on endoscope reprocessing. With this intimate group size, Sharon was able to spend one on one time with each person to ensure they fully understood the function of each part of the endoscope. The attendees emphasised the importance of professional development and the value gained from attending the course.
The guests finished their day with a tour of the LIVE Sydney facilities.
